Wild Rose I

A handmade paper wild rose with leaves mounted in a shallow shadow box frame. A classic favourite, wild roses are such gorgeous blooms. This paper version will last for many years.

The painted wooden frame is 10 x 12". It is a dark blue/grey around the outside and off white on the inside behind the flower. There is hanging hardware on the back and it is signed. 

Each of my paper flowers is handmade with care and attention to detail. This sculpture is made from doublette crepe paper, wire, acrylic paint, and glue. Using high quality materials and careful techniques ensures that my flowers will last a long time. This flower has also been sprayed with a UV protectant to prevent fading. I include care tips with each purchase. This unique shadow box would make a fun addition to a cabinet of curiosities, a bookshelf, or an art collection.
